About our Doula

Michael Callaghan has worked with the chronically ill and those in end of life journeys for over 35 years. He has been a companion with those facing end of life decisions and their families in a variety of settings, including, hospice, nursing homes and parish based communities. He holds a B.A. from Loyola University of Maryland and completed his S.T.B. and

M. Div. from St. Mary's Seminary University in Baltimore Maryland. He also holds a Master of Non Profit Administration from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.

Michael completed his End of Life Doula Certification through the University of Vermont in 2025.

He is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance.

Coastal Light is a duly registered and licensed practice in the State of Delaware.
